Potts Residence

Since the Potts Residence was envisioned as a tropical-retreat — a refuge with expansive views — we aimed to create a Balinese-style getaway in Canberra.

The house was designed to function as a space for both living and enjoyment, while establishing an intimacy with the external environment. Two main pavilions form the main structure - one for living and entertainment, and the other for sleeping and work. The centrally located pool acts as a focus point for the house, and the design provides light and ventilation to each room.

Materials and colours were chosen to enhance the feeling of an exotic getaway.
